England go in search of the win they need to make sure of top spot in World Cup Group L tonight when they take on Panama in New Jersey.

The optimism surrounding the Three Lions’ chances of winning the trophy deteriorated following the dismal goalless draw with Ghana on Tuesday night with Thomas Tuchel’s side looking toothless until a late barrage failed to result in an opener.

Panama have been eliminated after successive defeats to Ghana and Croatia and they will return home over the weekend.
