Liverpool star footballer Mohamed Salah’s question on the European Football Association (UEFA)’s post paying tribute to Palestinian footballer Suleiman Al-Obeid went viral on social media.
UEFA called Suleiman Al-Obeid a “Palestinian yellow” on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Farewell Suleiman Al-Obeid.” However, this post became the center of global attention when star footballer Mohamed Salah asked UEFA, “Can you tell me how, where and why he died?”
After Mohamed Salah’s question, the matter quickly went viral and fans from all over the world criticized Israeli atrocities, but UEFA did not respond to Salah’s question.
Meanwhile, a fan asked XKA’s AI assistant “Grok” for details of Suleiman’s death, and he revealed that 41-year-old Suleiman Al-Obeid was martyred on August 6, 2025, while waiting for aid in southern Gaza.
According to Grok, the Palestinian Football Association said that Israeli forces killed civilians in a cowardly act of targeting them. The Israeli army has not given any explanation for the incident and, as usual, has been making excuses to cover up its brutal crimes against humanity.
This is not the first time that Mohamed Salah has spoken out in favor of the Palestinian people. He has previously appealed to world leaders to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza and stop the massacre of innocent Palestinians.
