Tyler Butterfield finished in 295th position in the València marathon in Spain today [December 1].
The 41-year-old, who came thirtieth in his category, completed the course in 2hr 26min 06sec.
Butterfield, who holds the national marathon record of 2:21:47, has ran eight marathons: Boston 2024, Fukuoka, Japan, 2024, Seville, Spain, 2023, Lake Biwa, Japan 2019, the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Australia, 2018, Bermuda 2018 and the Gold Coast 2004.
He has twice represented Bermuda in triathlon at the Olympics at Athens in 2004 and London in 2012.
