Bermudian distance runner Sean Trott said he is delighted with his performance at the TCS New York Marathon on Sunday [November 3].
Trott, a four-time runner-up in the Bermuda Half-Marathon Derby, finished 468th out of 55,508 finishers in 2hr 41min 48sec, shaving 1:16 off his previous personal best.
“What an experience!” Trott wrote on social media. “Running despite a less than ideal training build-up, including a longest training run of 16 miles.
“No complaints or excuses, only gratefulness.”
