SCARS Founder and Executive Director, Debi Ray Rivers said “Many thanks to the Mid Ocean Ladies’ Committee Members and all the participants. What a wonderful Christmas gift for SCARS. Every dollar will go towards our continued advocacy, education, and awareness initiatives. Your generosity allows us to continue this crucial work in prevention so that every child in our community has an opportunity to grow up safe and protected. I am truly touched by the amount that was raised.”
The Mid Ocean Ladies Captain Lisa Ferrari, commented “The Christmas tournament is a highlight of our golfing calendar, for the chance to get together and celebrate Christmas as a group and for the opportunity to make a difference to deserving local charities like SCARS. A huge thank you to Mid Ocean and everyone who helped with the tournament and of course to everyone who kindly donated so generously.”
The spokesperson said, “The Christmas Charity Golf Tournament and Luncheon is an annual team event supporting a different charity each year.
