The 37th Annual Fecchio Junior Cup will be held at the Turtle Hill Golf Course on Thursday, December 19th and Friday, December 20th.
A spokesperson said, “Defending champion, Camilo Legere is up against a strong field with the likes of recent Moongate Tour winner Oliver Betschart and the ever-improving Johnny Bart. Recent Port Royal Female Club Champion Sienna Mosquera will also be a threat to overall honors along with fellow female Darina Betschart who has been improving every tournament.
“There are 39 junior golfers registered for the event which is a welcomed increase from last year’s field. The ages range from 9 years to 19 years of age with four divisions based on age. The Blue Division [15+yrs] consists of 12 golfers, the White Division [13-14 yrs] is the largest with 17 registered, the Red Division [11-12 yrs] is the smallest group with 3 registered and the Golf Division [9-10 yrs] has 7.
“The Blue and White Divisions will be playing 36 holes over the 2-day tournament using the Strokeplay format. The Red Division will also be a 36-hole event, but they will be using the Stableford format and the Gold Division will play 18 holes over the two days under the Stableford format.
“Tee times start at 10:00am on Thursday.”
