After the unveiling of the trophy, the captains of all eight teams attended a joint press conference.
All the captains expressed their determination to perform well in the event and achieve victory.
National cricket team captain Salman Ali Agha said that the team has been performing well for the last four months. All the players are excited for the Asia Cup.
When asked about the match against India, he said that adopting an aggressive approach in the match is the specialty of a fast bowler.
He added that these conditions are not new for us, we will try to perform at our best.
Suryakumar Yadav (Captain of Indian Cricket Team)
Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said that we are playing the T20 format after a long time. We have not played a match together since June but we have to accept this challenge as a team.
He said that we have been preparing here for the last four days. The conditions in the UAE seem to be better in terms of weather, all the teams are strong in the Asia Cup, there will be a tough competition.
The Indian captain said that no team can be taken lightly in the Asia Cup. T20 is a format in which all the teams are equal, in this, the smallest team can surprise any team with its performance.

Rashid Khan (Captain of Afghanistan Cricket Team)
Afghanistan captain Rashid said that they will try to work hard and show 100 percent performance to win the event.
He further said that we did not think of reaching the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup to be held in the West Indies, but we worked hard, due to which we were able to play in the semi-finals, we will try to do the same in this event too.
Liton Das (Captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team)
The Bangladesh captain said that all the teams participating in the event are strong, so we will have to put in a lot of effort and hard work to win any match.
He further said that the Bangladesh team has performed well in the last three series.
Yasmin Mortaza (Captain of Hong Kong Cricket Team)
Hong Kong captain Yasmin Mortaza said that we have reached this point after working hard. We have good players, hopefully the fans will get to see good cricket.
Jitendra Singh (Captain of Oman Cricket Team)
Oman Cricket Team Captain Jitendra Singh said that we are very excited for this event because the Oman Cricket Team is participating in the Asia Cup for the first time.
He further said that we have played three World Cups in the past, so we are hopeful of performing well.
Mohammad Wasim (Captain UAE Cricket Team)
UAE Cricket Team Captain Mohammad Wasim said that we have been preparing hard for this event for the last two to four months.

Charith Asalanka (Captain Sri Lanka Cricket Team)
